Laying the Cornerstone for the Première Classe Frankfurt Airport Hotel

On 09 March 2016, the kick-off for the first new building of the budget brand of the French Louvre Hotels Group introduced in Germany in 2015 occurred with the laying of the cornerstone for the new Première Classe Frankfurt Airport Hotel. The Louvre Hotels Group would like to further strengthen its presence on the German market, not least thanks to the EUR 2.5 billion line of credit recently received by the Chinese ICBC Bank. The first new building of the Première Classe is an important milestone. The opening is planned for early 2017.

With the new hotel at the Frankfurt airport, the Main metropolis will have a modern budget hotel with a total of 140 guest rooms, including 118 standard rooms, 21 family rooms and an handicapped-accessible room. The international brand combines comfort with a good price-performance ratio while focusing on the factors of modernity and quality. One focus is on the lobby as a "contemporary living room": It is to be designed so that guests can linger there and communicative exchange between travellers is promoted. Architects deliberately did without walls and rely on a completely open reception and lounge area with a lobby bar. All rooms are equipped with two or four beds, a work area, wardrobe, free WiFi as well as a flat screen TV and numerous cable and satellite channels.

Together with finch Properties, KVL has supported the Louvre Hotels Group in the pre-development phase with the property acquisition as well as with corresponding feasibility studies.
