Central Business Tower

On 8 November 2021 the contract to plan and build a 205 m highrise for Helaba was signed with Ed. Züblin AG and Dobler Metallbau GmbH as general contractors. KVL Frankfurt supported Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen in negotiating the contract.

The contract for the new high-rise is in the mid three-digit million euro region. The building will boast 52 upper and five basement floors and includes a listed, six-storey podium building with a historic façade. Completion of the Central Business Tower is scheduled for 2027/2028. Demolition of the existing buildings on Neue Mainzer Straße began in November 2021. The historic building and the first four floors of the high-rise will be publicly accessible and offer space for culture and gastronomy. The Weltkulturen-Museum, the city of Frankfurt`s ethnological museum, will aslo be housed here.

Floors 5 to 52 of the tower are intended for office use. The high-rise makes a striking new addition to the skyline on Neue Mainzer Straße. This project adds further expertise to KVL Frankfurt's coverage of high-rise and large-scale projects.

„In a high-rise project, every decision has a multiplier effect on costs and construction time. Analysing this carefully and incorporating it into contracts and schedules in good time is essential for the success of the project.“  Steffen Schmitt, Managing Partner
