International Transit Corridor (ITC)

Highway links Western Europe and Western China

For a major project to install an International Transit Corridor (ITC) between Western Europe and Western China with a length of 8.445 km, JSC "K-Dorstroy" is currently constructing a new section of this ITC in southern Kazakhstan, on the territory of the Dzhambul region, with a length of about 58 km.

On one hand a part of the already existing road is to reconstruct and on the other hand a completely new road and three new bridges have to be built. The design of the road has four tracks (two on each side). Culverts and a new drainage systems will be installed as well.

After completion of the construction project the road part between km 536 and 593 is expected asa concrete roadway of about 44 km in length,

• a asphalt roadway of about 14 km in length and
• three 3 bridges with a total length of approximately 226 m.

The contractually agreed upon scope of service contains the following elements:

Independent monthly review of the grade of completion and the performed quality;
Check of all monthly consumed materials;
Check of chief commercial and technical issues;
Preparation of a monthly status report regarding costs, quality and schedule.

KVL Consult checks and to controls the use of funds by JSC “K-Dorstroy” which are provided by JSC “ATFBank” as financing institute.
