In Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan, an upscale residential complex was built by the general contractor TOO Kablan next to the river Ischim. The complex consists of two 25-storey buildings, a 12-floor residential building, a low rise building and an underground car park covering the whole area.

KVL assumes the construction management and the task of further train the client´s employees with project management (monitoring and scheduling). Bacause of the two towers and their curb weight a two meter thick base plate had to be installed. Because of the bad soil conditions the base plate had to be constructed on a grate of concrete bore piles. To finish the construction in the minimum time a specially constructed “climbing formwork” was used. The high class construction started in 2008. The local circumstances alongside with the new established company (client) displayed a big challenge for KVL, but all problems and challenges were solved.
